Satya Nadella To Address Microsoft’s India Event

India born CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella will be in India during the later part of this month for addressing a conference over ‘Future Decoded’ in Mumbai.

While Nadella has visited number of times while assuming the leadership role, this visit is taking over significance as the global debate over US clampdown over visas. It even includes impact over the flow of skilled manpower rages.

Satya Nadella is among the first few of technology titans which is opposing the restrictions over immigration by means of US administration under Donald Trump.

During last month, Trump has signed a sweeping executive over suspending the arrival of refuges and imposing tough newer controls over the travelers.

These travelers are from the countries like Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen as a part of the newer measure for keeping radical Islamic terrorists out of America.

Condemning over the move, Nadella says in a post over LinkedIn, “As an immigrant and a CEO, I’ve both experienced and seen the positive impact that immigration has on our company, for the country and for the world. We will continue to advocate this important topic.”

Microsoft President Brad Smith says about as many as 76 Microsoft employees are affected by means of newer executive order.

Executives which are from Google, Apple, Netflix, Facebook and other top American companies has slammed Trump’s immigration order which has sparkled widespread protests across the US.

Microsoft’s Future Decoded Event, which is to be held on 21st and 22nd February is expected to see participation of about 1,500 business and government officials.

It will include names like Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Lord Jonathan Evans (former director general, MI5), Guenter Butschek, CEO, Tata Motors, and Anil Rai Gupta, Chairman and MD of Havells.

Discussions will resolve around how the digital technology is empowering people and organizations across governments, education, banks, hospitals, e-commerce, entertainment and manufacturing organizations.

Yet the details regarding Nadella’s itinerary could not be confirmed.
