It is to be noted in this respect that Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad are the top funded startup cities of the year of 2016. It is seen that this year has been difficult for the startups in this country. The financial turmoil and other constrains are making the situation problematic for them.

According to the investors, Indian market is not so easy to make good funding for the startups. There are many factors which should be kept in mind. The profitability is the most important factor which is showing that the time is not smooth for them. It is always being kept in mind whether the startup companies can raise the fund to a good amount. Here I am going to give some names which are the top funded startups in this year. Let’s start with Ibibo because it has made impacts in the whole ecosystem of startups. According to the list, this company is top funded startup with the investment of $250 million. However, it is very exciting to get the knowledge of what the company is making for profit. The travelers would have a great opportunity to change the dimension of travelling by filling up the “From” and “To” fields to get all accessible modes of transportation.  You can choose the right option regarding the bus, train, flight, hotel, and so on. This company has made the travelling easier.

Other Big Startups

In the second position there is Snapdeal which is an e-commerce site. It has raised $200 million by the Ontario Teachers’ Pension plan. After that we can take the name of Big Basket which is at the third position with $150 million funding.
