Cabinet approves construction of National War Memorial in New Delhi; gives nod to 3 New AIIMS

On 7th October 2015 in New Delhi, Cabinet took important decision to build National War Memorial and Museum near India Gate. Memorial will be build in order to pay tribute to Indian soldiers who have made supreme sacrifice for the country post-independence,  finally the Government has given green signal.
The memorial will be in the in memory of 22,500 soldiers who sacrificed their lives while in the line of duty post-independence. 

Cabinet has also given green signal to build three new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal.

In a Diwali gift to lakhs of Railway employees, the Union Cabinet approving 78-day wages as productivity-linked bonus for them. From this decision over 12 lakh non-gazetted Railway employees are likely to be benefited from this decision.

Hailing cabinet’s decision on building National War museum, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that the National War memorial will be a perfect tribute to our brave soldiers who have given their lives for the nation.
