Apple’s ‘transparent texting’ lets you text and walk

US tech giant Apple has filed for patent for its new technology which allows user to text while walking by replacing background with a live video feed from the rear camera of the phone. Apple has filed this patent on ‘transparent texting’ in September 2012.

As per study report of University of Buffalo, US, texting while walking may result in more injuries per mile than distracted driving. However, the Apple’s patent allows the user to activate the transparency mode during texting session by just pressing the transparency button. The mode replaces the background with live background video feed. This also ensures text bubbles appear overlaid over the live back ground video.
